The first exhibition of the year is dedicated to contemporary painting. This display contrasts with the gallery’s usual focus on works on paper and drawing. Here, the exhibition will feature oil, acrylic, linen canvas, and wood panels, and above all, five artists with diverse works: abstract, figurative, luminous, or enigmatic.
Ilhem Ellouze (Tunisia), Bruno Gadenne (France), Robinson Haas (France), Chloé Silbano (France) et YU Jen-chih (Taïwan)offer a snapshot of contemporary painting today. Their works question our relationship to the world and our surroundings, while simultaneously striking a chord with the viewer’s sensitivity to the subtleties of color. Some of these paintings are being shown in Nantes for the first time, promising new artistic discoveries.
