<\/div> <\/div> <\/div> [vc_empty_space height=”20px”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Color, exuberant shapes, fascinating volumes, crocheted flowers, embroidery, drawings\u2026 Galerie Robet Dantec invites you to start the year with a colorful exhibition by artist Aur\u00e9lien Finance. The title, \u201cNever cut a teaspoon with a cutter \u2026\u201d comes from a drawing by the artist. From the outset, it testifies to a theatrical universe, built around absurd stories invented or inspired by reality, myths or childhood tales.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Very often, the works of Aur\u00e9lien Finance divert the textile universe by deconstructing traditional codes. He practices so-called \u201cpopular\u201d skills, such as knitting, crochet, or embroidery to experiment with their limits in a playful approach borrowing from humor and poetry. These creations then become transitional objects from which are born imaginary characters, organic beings, outgrowths rescued from a forgotten memory \u2026<\/p>\n

The artist\u2019s dyslexia (disorientation of orderly writing) shows itself unashamedly in her work as an asset.
